After working a couple of jobs and training in sophrology – a method to produce optimal health and well-being through the alignment of mind and body – she decided to embark on a new challenge by taking ownership of a 23-year-old lingerie boutique in the town of L’Isle d’Adam, an hour north of Paris. To best showcase its collections, products are hung in picture frames as though they are works of art. Statement furniture and a grand chandelier further create an ultra-chic and sleek atmosphere. As a result, the boutique was awarded a special prize at this year’s TOP 100 Meilleures Boutiques de France, the French equivalent of the Best Shop Awards held by our French sister magazine, Intima. A young and trendy clientele keep coming back for edgy styles, as well as items from the leading lingerie, swimwear and hosiery brands in Europe, not to mention the shop's on-point style advice. Earlier this year, the product offer was extended to include larger cup sizes. Always on the hunt for new ideas, Alexandra also launched a smartphone app on which Iloeva’s keenest customers can be notified with the latest updates, order new styles and even share their feedback.
