Jun Oikawa started selling out his own brands in major retail stores. However, the desire for a closer connection with his clientele led him, twenty years ago, to open his ownboutique-a space designed to showcase the brand's craftsmanship through every detail.

The store transports visitors into a harmonious world marked by traditional Japanese aesthetics, enhanced by chestnut wood flooring sourced from Japan's mountains, which blends beautifully with enjyu (pagoda tree) pillars. The fitting rooms are adorned with tatami mats, creating a "cocooning" atmosphere, while the walls evoke the elegance of shoji, the iconic Japanese paper screens that diffuse soft, natural light. A lintel adorned with a phoenix motif adds a poetic touch, emphasizing the meticulous attention to detail in the store's design. In this minimalist yet elegant space, each creation is displayed like a piece of art, with only one item per style showcased. Among the luxurious and exclusive offering are exceptional brands such as the Canadian Arianne and the Australian Ginia, renowned for their silk designs.
