Following their first show, "Lingerie, Mon Amour," in January 2017, "Promincor - Lingerie Française" (Association for the Promotion of Corsetry Industries) and DEFI - La Mode de France (Committee for Development and Promotion of French Clothing Industry) brought together once again the biggest French lingerie brands for the "Lingerie Rocks" runway show, which took place in Paris on January 20th and was streamed live on www.lingeriefrancaise.com
A musical extravaganza
14 prestigious French lingerie brands (Antigel, Antinéa, Aubade, Chantelle, Empreinte, Éprise, Epure, Implicite, Passionata, Lise Charmel, Lou, Louisa Bracq, Maison Lejaby and Simone Pérèle) and three French guest designers (Badines Lingerie, Henriette H and Jolies Mômes) presented their latest collections for an audience of 600 people, including press, influencers and international buyers. This year, the show's theme was "Parisian Rock," with a live concert from the French group "Hyphen Hyphen," striking scenography, and tightly choreographed dance numbers, coming together in a contemporary ode to excellence. Put together by the artistic director Frédéric Fontan, the Lingerie Française show put the Parisian Rock Chick center stage and, through its four dance pieces, showed the many facets of this complex woman: "Rock like a boy," "We love green," "Girls don't cry," and "Glamrock attitude."
