On November 4, 2019, Ariela Esquenazi, CEO and President of AAI, announced that the company had purchased the brand Curvy Couture. Working in close collaboration with Esquenazi, Dora Lau, founder of Curvy Couture and Dora L. International, and recipient of this year’s HUG Award, will continue to oversee the brand’s design vision. Evora Griffith Russel, who has been part of the Dora L. International team for the past 17 years, will joining AAI as VP of Sales & Marketing for Curvy Couture. Joining Russell will be several members of the Curvy Couture marketing team.
