Founded in 2021 by Chai Swinton, a lingerie expert with over ten years of experience, Body By Chai offers a refreshing approach to lingerie shopping. Following a career working at specialty boutiques and department stores, Chai decided to create a different concept: an intimate, by appointment-only boutique that caters to everyone, regardless of size, gender, or background.

Winning the Best of Intima Award for inclusivity in 2020- even before the physical store had opened. - was a sign of the strength of her vision: to provide a lingerie experience that celebrates diversity and self- expression.

Located on Calgary's vibrant 17th Avenue, known for its lively shops and restaurants, Body By Chai is a modern yet welcoming space. The interior radiates a sense of lightness, where soft pink accents beautifully contrast with sleek black displays, resulting in a modern and stylish design.

Inspired by mid-century architecture (a nod to Chai's wedding in Palm Springs), the boutique also boasts an outdoor patio - featuring a stunning mural, a true tribute to inclusivity - where events are hosted during the warmer months.
