This year's Le Stelle dell'Intimo gala was a night to remember. Confirming its position, more than ever, as the key event for the sector in Italy, for both brands and stores it was a unique and cherished moment in which to meet, share and confer, bringing guests together in a wide, international 'family' united by excellence.
The defining moment for the profession in Italy
The Stelle dell'Intimo gala, considered 'the Oscars of lingerie', sees the spotlight placed on the best lingerie, swimwear and legwear stores to be put forward across Italy. The winning stores in the 2019 competition were selected by a prestigious jury of 23 brands, and were unveiled during the gala event. The jury and Linea Intima magazine, The Best of Intima's sister publication in Italy, select the most representative stores from across the country, classed into categories that identify their greatest strengths. The four categories are: Reference Stores, New Generation Stores, Concept Stores, and Personal Touch Stores.
The jury and Linea Intima presented prizes to the most outstanding stores amongst the nominees for each category. After these category prizes, some special prizes were also presented to stores with a range of special strengths.
The Stelle dell'Intimo was launched by 21 years ago by Intima Media Group and its success led to the implementation of similar competitions in other countries where its magazines are present.

In 2019, Intima Media Group once again chose Florence as the location of the gala, to coincide with the trade show Immagine Italia & Co., which took place in the city the same weekend.
The competition promotes dialogue between producers and retailers; between the best known intimates and beachwear brands and the best stores in Italy. A key event for the profession, the gala evening marks the climax of the competition.
A moving and inspiring gala...
300 guests including top retailers, VIPs, industry professionals and press were present at the gala for a night of networking, fine food, prizes, and music.
