Yesterday marked the conclusion of the swimwear industry's most essential get-together and The Best of Swim magazine was proud to be in the center of the action as media partner for Miami SwimShow and an avid participant of the week's events, including Hammock and Cabana.
Now in its 36th year, Miami SwimShow has established itself as the must-attend event of the buying season, and serving as official media partner for the second year in a row affords The Best of Swim the unrivaled opportunity to use its distribution booths to spread the word about the amazing brands and happenings featured on our pages and to preview next season's collections from the event's 2,500 exhibiting brands. Spread out over 250,000 square feet, the trade show floor showcased next season's hit looks: statement one-pieces, strappy cuts, shoulder details and stripes galore, to name just a few. HAMMOCK
This year, the show moved to a new location, offering its swim, resort and accessory brands the opportunity to talk business and write orders with buyers in private suites. Now closing out its 9th year of operation, the event seeks to position itself as a chic, approachable show. It's fresh setup at 1 Hotel South Beach also featured sales space for Everything But Water, the in-hot-demand retailer that continues to snap up acquisitions.
CABANA
The self-declared summer lifestyle show, Cabana displays a curated selection of over 280 brands (including 45+ new lines) in a sophisticated beach getaway setting that must be discovered and experienced. The event's elegant, upscale vibe accommodates both well-known brands and emerging new labels alike, and The Best of Swim enjoyed visibility from each of them!
