Sylvia Rhodes has had a passion for French lingerie ever since she was a girl. But it was when she was able to explore Europe through her extensive travels that she developed a taste for high-end beach and resort wear. With a degree in Economics and Law in her pocket, in 1994 she set out to create a unique experience in Sydney for ladies who, like her, love to dress well from the inside out and enjoy beach life with style. No wonder Sylvia Rhodes has been the store of reference for luxury swim and intimates in Sydney for the past 28 years! The store is located in Bay Area, Sydney’s prestigious harbourside neighbourhood with a relaxed village feel to it. The design is refined, imbued with white, a clean and fresh canvas against which the collections appear prominent and captivating in the season’s colors. In the mellow lighting each display section is categorised by brand or distinguished by theme. The floor adds to the neutrality of the ambience, its tonalities warm and soft. Customers walking past the store will be mesmerized by the elevated mannequins in the window display. Stepping inside, the feng shui flow will take them from resortwear to swimwear to lingerie, and almost inevitably into one of the comfortable fitting rooms to try their choice pieces! Sylvia keeps in touch with all her customers via social media and newsletters, as well as an App which showcases the latest products and through which clients can book fittings. Added bonuses are loyalty cards, gift with purchases over certain amounts and champagne sipping nights!
