A curated showroom of premium brands were presented to an exclusive guest list of buyers. Selfridges, House of Fraser, ASOS, Figleaves, Neiman Marcus, Amazon, Lipsy, UK Lingerie, Tallulah, Dolcie Follie, Beautifully Undressed and many more were in attendance viewing collections and placing orders. Footfall was reported to be around 60 percent higher than the previous event in July.
Highlights included Coco de Mer, who used Dessous as their first ever wholesale trade fair
launch with their FW18 collection and their new collaboration with the V&A museum.
Marlies Dekkers presented their first collection for several seasons in the UK and it was well received by bloggers and customers alike.
Canadian nursing bra brand Bravado also
launched back in to the UK with their newly expanded collection of products for mums and
mums to be.
US label Oh La La Cheri sponsored a bloggers lunch hosted by lingerie blogger and
Instagram influencer Becky Mount (@beckyandthejets).
Fifteen bright internet voices met with
the brands and viewed collections. Understanding the relevance of bloggers in an ever
evolving press environment, Dessous London were keen to help brands connect with
influencers.
On the evening of the 11th, key show sponsor Coco de Mer hosted a cocktail soiree
catered by Morton's Private Members Club. Guests were treated to a stunning burlesque performance by Miss Fallon Dee (pictured right) who wowed onlookers with a provocative fan dance, dressing down to sheer black briefs and sparkling gold-tasseled pasties.
After this fiery edition of Dessous London, we're sure looking forward to the next!
