Roica's offer for the modern wardrobe widens with the launch of Roica Feel Good: a new family of premium stretch fibers designed for wellbeing. The newly released Roica Clean Fit is the range's debut fiber.
Roica offers consumers a vast assortment of high value solutions: a calibrated fit with Roica Contour; high performance with Roica Resistance, color definition with Roica Colour Perfect; and sustainable stretch fibers with Roica Eco Smart. Now, Feel Good adds new functionality with an array of fibers designed to ensure performance, physical wellbeing, freshness and convenience in the travel, sports, and leisure sectors, among others.
Roica Clean Fit, Natural High-Tech Freshness
The first yarn from its Roica Feel Good range, Roica Clean Fit, is a natural, eco-friendly solution with active, effective and long-lasting anti-odor properties. Roica CF is the result of a new technology that, instead of traditional surface finishes, uses an active functionality integrated into the yarn itself. The fiber's unique structure captures, absorbs and neutralizes the natural odors that are released in sweat, as well as external smells, and traps them, thereby blocking their proliferation.
This fiber does not use metallic compounds, making it completely free of substances that can irritate the skin. While common anti-odor finishes are short lived, as active chemicals are lost through normal washing, Roica CF's performance remains intact even after washing, with a less harmful impact on the environment. Roica CF's functionality is due to organic acids that are present in nature. The fiber is ideal for intimate apparel, hosiery, activewear, smart clothing, athleisure, and everyday wear.
As part of its Roica Feel Good project, Asahi Kasei presents the first application of Roica CF in collaboration with Maglificio Ripa, which has produced a range of five new fabrics and finished products, as well as with Wolford, which is offering a new line of hosiery and lingerie for FW 18/19.
