Futura was born from the expertise of Guido Farnedi and Gisella Frattini in developing collections for major brands and today the company also offers the collections by Parah Uomo and Sabbia.
Futura has acquired from Parah srl, the license for the creation, production and worldwide distribution of both brands starting from F/W 2018-19. "In agreement with Parah's management team, the collections are designed for a broad and transversal market, maintaining the elegance and quality and comfort standards that characterize both brands," explains Guido Farnedi, Futura CEO.
Recognized for its fresh and modern fashion style in beachwear, for F/W 2018-19 Sabbia, along with Futura, launch a lingerie, nightwear and homewear collections, and exclusively for summer, present their swimsuits and beach ready-to-wear range. In the phase of sell in, "the results for corsetry are excellent, appreciated for its good fit, the meticulous quality and the fashionable content, all with an advantageous positioning for the shops, to which today Future offers a very interesting margin", underlines Mr. Farnedi.
On Parah Uomo's side, the license covers the segments of underwear, nightwear and homewear: "after a first F/W concept studied with the idea of proposing a sought-after style and popular materials, the collection S/S 2019, which we will present at Pitti Uomo, will have a stronger and more assertive image, with a proposal for NOOS underwear, fun but classy pajamas, and a lounge range in a ready-to-wear style that will include mesh and new contemporary looks". Since the end of March, a capsule collection of jogging pants and sport-chic models in a metropolitan style, both for Sabbia and Parah Uomo, has already been presented to professionals and will be available for purchase from September 2018.
In terms of distribution, Futura operates with a sales network made up of 15 agents in Italy, while abroad it uses thirty distributors active in key markets. "Sabbia and Parah Uomo are well positioned in the mid-high-end retail network in Italy, where the goal is to reach 250-300 points of sale in 2018; the mission is now looking for growth in the international markets" continues Farnedi. "The focus is on Europe, where we are present in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Greece, Portugal and, soon, also in Germany and Sweden; in Russia and, for the men's collection, on the Asian markets, China in the lead".
