JC Criss Cross was designed and founded by breast cancer survivor and published author Jean Criss.
The trademark CrissCross was formed in memory of her late husband and, after a family history of cancer, product names have been chosen in memory of the founder’s friends and family.
Importantly, the brand's collections offers options for all survivors of breast cancer, including men. Additionally, the whole line, available in funky colors such as Don't Blush Baby, Hot Pink Mamma and Bust Out in Black has been designed to be worn by everyone, both men and women, who are in need of a compression garment, not only breast cancer survivors.
It is therefore natural that Jean has been personally involved in Pink Month, participating in a number of key events such as the International Day of a Girl Celebration, where she will be giving away product in a raffle, and attending the American Cancer Society "Mothers of the Year" Luncheon honoring Hoda Kotb and Susan Boolbol. On top of this, exclusive interviews have been scheduled with Kathy Ireland on Modern Living, doctors at Columbia University Medical Center - Breast Cancer Management and the Founder of the Women's Survivor Alliance.
