Maryan Beachwear Group Produces FFP2 Standard-Certified Masks

The swimwear specialist, Maryan Beachwear Group,  has begun to use its expertise in textile production to manufacture breathing masks certified according to the FFP2 standard. The clothing manufacturer is part of a group of companies that is producing urgently needed protective equipment on behalf of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The Maryan Beachwear Group is leveraging its ultra-modern Lectra cutter and mechanical equipment as well as the sewing skills of its employees at its professional development studio at its Murg site in southern Baden. They are cutting and assembling respirators.

Maya Mehlhorn, Managing Director, said that this production is positive in two ways: "We can support the country with the production of urgently needed protective equipment for the healthcare sector that meets the certified standards 100 percent. And we are in a position to secure the employment of part of the workforce during the crisis in the difficult economic market situation for the company in the textile and clothing sector."
