The event closed having acheived its objective: the promotion of European fabrics and accessories under the aegis of MarediModa, which has always worked to promote the sector by organizing events and initiatives (first and foremost, their fair in Cannes). With this Miami project, they have created a direct connection with the American market during the key market week for international swimwear: Miami Swim Week.
“MarediModa Miami has certainly gone well,”, said Claudio Taiana, President of MarediModa, “both in terms of contacts and visibility for our Cannes show. It gives an ideal opportunity to access the most important names on the American continent : an alternative way to access the European quality and calibre that are key to MarediModa’s philosophy."
The 16 companies from the MarediModa circuit present in Miami had the unique opportunity to meet leading brands from the United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Australia, Peru, Mexico, and Santo Domingo. These included Eberjey, Tommy Bahama, Maaji, Ralph Lauren, Leonisa, Touche, Track & Bliss... to name but a few. The spotlight was on previews Summer 2021 collections, which will be presented in full at Cannes from November 5-7, 2019 for the 18th edition of MarediModa, which will see the participation of over one hundred European exhibitors.
