YEES Green Double D Nylon 6 is a GRS recycled polyamide in a mass-dyed version, whose production cycle - which, based on color masterbatches, allows the dyeing phase to be bypassed after weaving - does not require the use of water. From raw materials to finished products, the one-step production chain does not include the dyeing phase, reducing the use of water to zero as the fabrics and laces only need to be pre-treated and heat-set even in the finishing phase. In addition to ensuring high color fastness, YEES Green Double D offers multiple environmental benefits, as it allows the manufacturer to save 55% water and 54% energy per ton of fabric and reduce CO2 and COD emissions 52% and 34% respectively. The fiber debuts in lingerie with Iluna's Green Label collection for SS25 in a black version, paired with pre-dyed viscose and lurex yarns for a pop of color. Further color developments will also follow for swimwear applications.
