This season marks the evolution of Caught Up In A Good Thing, the story of Volcom's eco friendly swimsuits.
The partnership with the worldwide organization Project 0 is coming to fruition; the Simply Solid Seamless collection (seamless) is emerging, and new one-piece jerseys with "Fresh Ink" graphic motifs are added to the simply solid theme.
Simply Seamless models are made from the same Econyl yarns as the Simply Solid collection but with a higher percentage, 82%, of regenerated nylon. This high nylon content, combined with a knit jersey technique, results in this luxurious and very soft fabric made in Italy. Each swimsuit is designed with two layers of this exceptional fabric. The pieces in this collection are as soft inside as outside, with the added bonus of being more durable.
This season, Volcom Ambassadors are presenting this collection of eco-responsible swimsuits in one of the finest coral reef reserves in Cabo Pulmo, Mexico. Perched on their small boat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Georgia May Jagger, Tina Kunackey, Coco Ho and Maud Lecar explore the seabed to discover sea turtles and other rare species of fish. In an idyllic setting, the Simply Solid eco responsible range comes alive in the best of ways.
Project 0 is an organization focused on protecting oceans around the world, of which Volcom is a partner. Part of the sales of Simply Seamless bodysuit is donated to this foundation, supporting its fight against one of the most important and easily solvable problems, ocean preservation.
