Gabriella's City Story

The Polish city of Lodz produces 120 million pairs of tights every year, which makes up 89% of Poland's national production. In order to pay hommage to Lodz's important heritage, one of the city's very own legwear brands, Gabriella, has created a collection called "Lodz Tights" in order to retrace Lodz's textile history...on tights! Obviously this is no small technical feat as this very special collection features tights with illustrations of the city's key landmarks. The former  Izrael Poznanski factory, which is now a classified historical monument, Tadeusz Kościuszko's statue in Freedom Square, old factories and chimneys all come together to create a pair of tights that is not only 100% from Lodz but also reflects the city's identity. The collection has been created from high quality materials and was only possible thanks to the latest manufacturing technology...All from Lodz!
