In an effort to get women talking about the beauty of their own bodies, Curvy Kate launched the #MyBodyVictory campaign, leading social media users of all backgrounds and body types to share photos starting with the phrase "My body is..." in the caption. The campaign, which began on August 1st and is scheduled to close today, was initially launched by six influencers, including body-confident plus-size model and actress Hayley Hasselhoff. The inspirational stories that were shared across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram contained everything from light-hearted victories to overcoming deep personal struggles. Each week of the campaign, participants had the chance to win three Victory by Curvy Kate bras in wine, latte and black.
For her part, Hayley Hasselhoff offered her own personal journey of body acceptance, saying "I've always been such a huge fan of Curvy Kate. It is so important for us to get together and celebrate our bodies, in a way of saying that lingerie doesn't only have to be sexy, but it can also be empowering."
Curvy Kate's PR and Content Executive, Aneela Ashraf, adds "This campaign is all about encouraging everyone to share their body store, whether it is something monumental or seemingly minor. Curvy Kate wants to start conversations that help everyone see their body in a positive light."
