How did it all begin?
Calligramme came together from a desire to bring domestic designers to the forefront. Strictly offering US intimates has allowed Calligramme to build a community of designers, consumers and creative that, collectively, are a truly romantic representation of the American dream.
Your store is...
...filled with vintage boudoir vibes. We provide options for all sizes and styles in a cozy, comfortable shopping environment. Overall the store reflects our clients – bright, bold and sexy!
What makes your store special?
After spending a year strictly shopping for Made in USA and vintage styles, I noticed a barrier in the accessibility to domestically manufactured designs and decided to create a platform for customers to shop for American products. On top of this, 100% of the products we carry are designed and manufactured by women. The store is known for its small batch designers, current, contemporary and luxury brands.
A word on your brand profile?
Our sales trend for the last three years has shown bold and empowering pieces doing well. In other words, everyday favourites with hints of sexiness to help you float through your day. Bright, bold colourful sets and sweeping luxe lounge pieces sell best. We also have a selection of 1920s-1980s vintage loungewear.
Who are your best selling swimwear brands?
For swimwear our top seller is All Things Fabulous but we also stock Commando. For those ladies on their way to the beach, Impish Lee proves to be a beachwear bestseller.
What other brands stand out for you?
For lingerie, we offer harmonica, Uye Surana, Nevaeh, The Giving Bride and Only Hearts is a customer favourite. We have MADI for daywear and Nevaeh compliments are selection of vintage loungewear. Our accessories best seller is Uye Surana and the mens underwear bestseller is Dominnici.
Do you have any upcoming projects?
We’re always searching for USA made designers but only time will tell…
