For 2016, we interviewed over 50 of the leading American and Canadian boutiques, all of them former nominees in the Best Shop Awards, whose 12th edition will be taking place later this year. Our panel is exclusively made up of multi-brand lingerie stores with a swimwear offer. How have swim sales impacted their business? What brands have come out on top? Read on!
Results for 2016
Swimwear has come into its own in North American lingerie boutiques: 53% report stable sales, while 32% mentioned an increase in sales over last summer. On a somewhat less positive note, 15% reported slightly lower sales – a first in our swim survey, started 4 years ago.
