Baiba Birzniece joins the management of European Lingerie Group

This is a new management position created within ELG, demonstrating the company’s desire to become a vertically-integrated leading player in Europe for the textile and lingerie sector. In her new role, Baiba Birzniece, who has already overseen the acquisition of Felina as a member of the Group’s Supervisory Board, has joined ELG’s management team to assist in the implementation of its vertical integration strategy. She will also be in charge of setting up and managing external financing agreements as well as investor relations. Ms. Birzniece graduated from Vidzeme University in Latvia and worked as a consultant for KPMG, then served as head of business development at Lattelecom and head of finance at Silvano Fashion Group. She is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
