On August 4th, The Best of Intima magazine held its annual Gala Awards ceremony, The Best of Intima Awards, at New York City's elegant Tribeca Rooftop. The invitation-only event brought together some of the industry’s key faces, uniting brands and store
To ensure that our loyal readers and supporters around the world were included in the festivities, the most dynamic parts of the evening were broadcast live on Instagram, while photos from the event circulated using the hashtag #thebestofintimaawards, which remains searchable for those who would like a glimpse of the event! Photos of the night’s cocktail hour, dinner and award ceremony can be found on The Best of Intima’s Facebook page, as well as in high resolution on Flickr and Google Photos (the cocktail hour and awards ceremony).
After a beautiful cocktail hour on the Tribeca Rooftop, the ceremony began!
The ceremony was of course introduced by Intima Media Group’s Co-Owner and Editorial Director, Francesca Spinetta, whose speech brought together the industry’s news, as well as a personal mention to the family of Danny Koch from Town Shop.
Then, The Best of Intima Awards was proud to announce the year’s newcomers- stores opened in the last three years who nonetheless had succeeded in securing a nomination, and were present at the awards!
After this, the ceremony passed to the highlight of the night: the prizes! 11 stores were awarded with prizes, ranging from the traditional category prizes to the new Traiblazer award, and of course special category prizes from Bravado and Soak.

The July 2019 edition of The Best of Intima contains an unfortunate mistake concerning two stores:
- Beneath it All in Saskatoon, presently listed as a finalist in the Personal Touch category, is in fact a finalist in The Best of Intima’s Choice category. - Beneath it All in Somerville, New Jersey, is a finalist in the Personal Touch category.
Beneath it All, Somerville The story of Beneath it All began when owner Alison saw a reality documentary about women with fuller busts. Inspired to dive into the
lingerie industry, she opened her store in 2012, bringing her expertise, enthusiasm,
and warmth to the residents of Somerville, New Jersey. With a strong focus on fit
for larger cup sizes, this store is proud to bring ‘bra-piphanies’ to the women of New Jersey.
