The brand was sold to the management company Endurance Partners in 2017, but suffered its bankruptcy and loss of assets.
Nath Group, owner of brands Ory and JJ Brothers, acquired the brand from Endurance’s liquidation, including its manufacturing facilities and three stores. Former owners Totón Comella (pictured left) and Josep Maria Donat return for TCN’s new chapter with the objective of relaunching the brand internationally. Comella and Donat are minority shareholders, but with executive roles in the newly formed Goldmar Collection, serving as Creative Director and Executive Officer respectively. Their aim is to rebuild the brand with new production, commercial, and communication strategies. TCN will develop a coordinated array of lingerie, beachwear, and clothing, while taking advantage of the industrial synergy provided by Nath Group.
According to the terms of purchase, the company will keep half of its employees along with its three stores in Barcelona and Sant Cugat. Its retail location in Madrid is expected to reopen as soon as possible.
The Zaragoza-based Nath Group is led by managing director Andrés Manuel Fernandez and has facilities in Amposta, Burgos, and Vigo. The Group is active in the apparel industry and broke into the lingerie and swimwear sectors with its acquisition of brands Ory and JJ Brothers. With these additions, Nath became a creative high-end player in the sector.
