Now, the segments play an integral part in the brand’s first line. We take a closer look at this new, increasingly international direction.
Launched in F/W 2008-09 and S/S 2009 respectively, and initially considered complementary lines, the Ermanno Scervino intimate and swim lines have been managed internally since F/W 2016-17 and are fully integrated into the creative process of the first line – an important decision requested by the stylist himself. Lingerie and beachwear are managed and developed in the headquarters at Bagno a Ripoli in the Florentine hills, where all the brand’s collections are born.
These headquarters are home to a couture, tailoring and knitwear lab working in constant contact with
the style department and it is in these headquarters
that every
step – from
textile choice to sample designs, right up until the first
patrons and the staging of the collections – is
completed under the strict supervision of the stylist who,
accompanied by a dedicated team, closely follows the creative development of each garment. The intimate and beachwear offer is divided into three labels: Lingerie (corsetry, day and night lingerie, silk pajamas), Beachwear (swim and resort wear), and Life (loungewear and outerwear). The offer is completed by the Brazil capsule collection, inspired by the colors and shapes of Brazilian swimwear, within which a dedicated athleisure line is also being developed.
The brand is also pursuing its international development with the opening of flagship stores in the modern and stylish Monte-Carlo, at Crocus City Mall in Moscow, and a brand new store in Hangzhou, China.
